Who do you think He is?

Who do you think He is? He died this day, murdered by his own people. The people who just a while ago were declaring Him as the "King of Israel". Unbelievable right? How can you one day claim someone to be your king, and a week later decide to kill him using the most horrific, painful, inhumane method ever conceived. Even the Roman, Pilate, didn't know what to do. So different people saw Him differently. A prophet, a king, a rabbi, a teacher, a friend, someone to be tortured and killed? Who do you think He is?

By His own admission, he is the Son of God. Son of the Most High, the Almighty. Either He is completely insane in claiming such a thing, or He really is the Son. What are you going to do about it? Jesus died this day, and 2000 years later, we still remember it. He was blameless, even by the admission of the Romans who nailed him to the cross. Why do you think He did it? He did it for you and I. God himself chose to die on that cross, so that the debt of sin could be paid, that we wouldn't have suffer eternal damnation. Why? Because He loves us, each and everyone of us, even the Romans hammering the rusty nails into his body, even the the Jews laughing and mocking him as he was raised on the cross, even the soldier that pierced his side with a spear. That's why he allowed himself to be murdered, to suffer on the cross.

Hi all, I realise that I have pretty much disappeared from this space for ages!! There's basically a ton of stuff that's been happening lately. Plus! the weather's been all wacked out, in the past 2 weeks, it's gone from seriously heavy snow (for London that is, not Siberia or anything other Arctic region) to double digit temperatures. But still it was kind of nice to wake up to a white London. Crap when it all turns into slush though. Not even the strawberry kind, more like the dirty nondescript grey kind. Probably the ugliest colour God ever created.

And yeah been busy, had various birthday celebratory things on the week from the 28th of Feb (the day itself) to 4th March. All in all quite nice. Will update on that later.
